I just think this whole Komainu thing is really weird. Like, shit, they're not supposed to be dogs. They're lions. It's even a lion in Korea. But for some reason, Japanese ended up with "Korean Dog" when they were brought over from Korea.
Edit: Wait a minute. What? The right one is a Komainu, while the left one is a Shishi?
