Now that I've checked it out... by default, Marisa does not wear a bowtie. That is to say, it's only in some official appearances that there is something around her neck beyond the usual turtleneck.
I guess it looks kinda cluttered to have a bowtie when she already has a braid with a ribbon bow tied to it. I like how Niru opted for a long braid here though.
