Not a fan of the idea that the clothes are part-and-parcel of the supernatural identity myself.
Personally, I like to think there's a tailor yōkai (or god, or ghost) in Gensōkyō, and she is also a sage influential enough to provide her services to just about everybody post-danmaku fight.
