Yeah, a sunshower is also called a fox's wedding in Japanese. Though that's not the only definition. Another one that actually makes more sense would be multiple foxfires that look like a wedding procession.
There doesn't seem to be a solid explanation to why sunshower ended up with this term too. A common binder, though, is that rain with no clouds is most certainly a fox's trick.
