It does bring up the question of how exactly the various characters fly 🤔 Borrowing 40k's terminology, if yōkai power is basically warp energies, then perhaps the various magic systems all share the same source?
And flying is as basic as shooting danmaku. Yōkai and kami can do that naturally because they're... well, daemons.
