You know, if we are open to playing the Eastern-Western fusion like with Patchouli here too, I guess we can assume that Meiling really is a dragon – but unidentifiable by anybody in Gensōkyō simply because she's a Western dragon who trained in Eastern martial arts and qi manipulation.
