So Kikeijū is, like, "Oni + Form + Animal". However, the title here has "Desire" added to the end. It's probably to denote that the animal spirits are really into buying these stuff, though I think it'd still be a good footnote to point out that when the two latter characters are put together, "animal desire" (Jūyoku) also means lust.
And "gum" can be a slang for heroin.
