I just love how Kosuzu, despite being quite inquisitive, is still kind of a scaredy cat – contrasted by being very assertive when it comes to the business aspect of Suzunaan.
Thinking about the book renting business, I suppose it is very fitting for Gensōkyō. The profession is being forgotten.
- Why (even pay and) borrow from these places when there are actual public libraries?
- Books had become cheaper to outright sell instead of being rented out.
- And it's all digital now. PDF files are way cheaper than physical books.
