Huh. It seems Eirin and Medicine share a narrative quality. They're bosses of the "bad" routes. In Medicine's case – in PoFV – while Reimu and Marisa meet Aya, it's not a cut so clear for the other characters. Some meet Medicine instead with the "Oh shit, I should not have come here." kind of vibe.
